1. What specifically have you learned from this project? Don't only think in terms of the work you made, but also through the discussions during critique of others in the class.
I learnt to work outside my boundaries and actually tried to emulate the original in my own style. I felt like it was a nice experience since I got to work with something other than acrylic paint, The dimensions and the layout is different from my normal style but it helped me learn some aspects of design.
2. If this project is assigned in the future, how might it be tweaked to enhance the overall learning experience for all students?
If the assignment had boundaries or a preferred list of artists, maybe we would zoom into it a bit more than usual. I think that the project should focus more on the recreation in our own style with different materials more than just copy-painting on top of junk mail like some people did.
3. How have your thoughts about design changed through because of this project.
Honestly no, I like flat, this was flat, and therefore flat=flat. I prefer what I prefer and it will stay as such until I decide I like something different.
4. What changes would you make if you had the opportunity to re-work the image you created?
I would pick a new image, I had chosen this one from a list of about 8 and I think it would have gone very differently from what I have done.
